Terry Stevens

Hey there, I’m Terry Stevens and I got interested in storm chasing at the age of 15. This passion I had for following the weather and chasing storms grew stronger as I’ve gotten older. In 2016, I finally decided to join the EWV team as a Field Correspondent and was later promoted to storm chaser based on his knowledge of radar and weather. I am both spotter network and skywarn certified and have helped get information across to people about dangerous situations like tornado warnings. On January 22, 2017, A EF3 tornado crossed 70 miles across my home town of Albany, Ga. This tornado did a large amount of damage and I was trying to warn friends and family of the potentially dangerous situation that was unfolding.  Later, I went out into the field and took pictures of the damage and this is what I found.

This tornado was one of the biggest and most damaging I personally have witnessed in my lifetime and the damage it did was unreal to me. I felt so sorry for the people that were affected by this storm system and that is when I decided to devote my spare time doing research and chasing. I look forward to my future working alongside Extreme Weather Videos.
