As a child I was always intrigued by the weather and mother nature in general, even though it terrified me as a child, but I faced what terrified me and turned it into a passion. Like most weather enthusiasts, I grew up watching twister. When I was visiting family in Indiana one summer and we had a line of severe storms rolling through, it spawned a tornado about a one and a half or two miles away from the house and I saw the power flashes and the wind all around the house. It was in that moment I knew I wanted to learn as much about tornadoes and weather as I could. In late 2012 to early 2013 I helped start and run a GA based storm team which I still help run, but in mid 2017 I came across EWV and joined with them as a chaser. I’ve seen many many severe storms and several tornadoes in my life and I’m just glad to be a part of such an amazing group of people who all share the same passion!
