Severe Weather: Damaging winds and Large Hail Pound the Ohio and Tennessee Valley
Over the past several days we have seen a low pressure system slowly roll across the US. Check out the images below showing the storm reports from 6/14/2016-6/16/2016. Over that 3 day period we have had 15 tornado reports, 607 wind damage reports, and 144 hail reports. As you notice Wednesday had a whopping 359 wind reports alone!!
The severe weather threat will shift to the southeast tomorrow as the current frontal system finally pushes east and off the coast by Saturday bringing some slight heat relief with it as well. There is a slight risk of severe weather for tomorrow across parts of central and southern Georgia, western South Carolina, and northeast Florida.
