A Little Poetry by an Admin
The skies are rumbling from the storms rolling in
I hop in the car and my adventures begin
Roll down the highway to find that great viewing spot
Stopping a long the roadside and setup for that perfect camera shot
Chasing a storm has it’s highs and lows
Best part is being with Extreme Weather Videos
A chaser looks for the spinning of a storm
In hopes that a Tornado will soon form
I watch the sky and listen to the thunder
Am I in the right spot? I often wonder
The sky turns black and air gets thick
I think I am in trouble, I dash out quick
I call out to the members of my team
The storm intensifies and is picking up steam
I bolt down the road to find a more safer location
When this storm ends, I am so going on vacation
The storm drops a Tornado to my west
My adrenaline rushes and heart beats nearly out of my chest
I go for the intercept and take my position
Of course the sky takes on a different weather condition
The storm dissipates and everything stops
Sometimes our chases turn into nothing but flops
We look at the radar to see where to go now
Just hope to catch the next storm, some way, some how
Standing out in the rain, I am soaked from head to toes
