Another Round of Winter Weather

Many places across the eastern half of the country are dealing with bitterly cold temperatures and some records are even being threatened. With this cold airmass in place the stage will be set for many places to see some form of winter weather from the Tennessee Valley over to the Mid-Atlantic states and eventually up into the northeast yet again. Most of the state of Tennessee is under a winter storm warning, the eastern tird is under a watch. Winter weather advisories have been issued as far south as Atlanta, Ga for Friday into Saturday. Kentucky may pick up another 3-5 inches of snow on top of the foot some places received with winter storm Octavia. The bottom line is that old man winter plans to stick around for a few more weeks it looks like. Places in the south will have another shot of snow early next week and again that weekend.
